Anoma
Anoma is a mysterious imageboard with limited community of invited users, mostly students and young specialists. A place where one can simultaneously discuss latest trends in C++ programming, chitchat about moe-factor in anime and evaluate Large Hadron Collider functional beauty, referring to Gibson or Carl Jung, if pleased.
I was booked by Anoma to create a custom layout theme for the board and draw a mascot. Theme was named a "Mega-mega-white-thing", mascot's name was Anomi-chan.
Later I took over a part of art-director and head-designer to produce with Anoma people partly analytic and partly artistic e-zine "Almanach". E-zine crew consisted of appr 10 amateur specialists plus 5-10 authors. There was 4 volumes, including one special. Volumes are available for downloading here: http://almanach.anoma.ch/.
I used this project to build up my skill of layout design, typography design (both typography and text-composing) and illustration.

Anoma Audition Guide
03 June 2009
The guide was invented when Anoma's system of invites has changed to the system of multiple step auditions and invites by recommendation of Guards. The text of the chart is pretty much metaphorical.

Mega-mega-white-thing Theme
03 June 2008
The theme is named after a string from the song "Born Slippy" by Underworld. This name represents whiteness and differences of styling while custom themes are quite uncommon at imageboards.

Anomi-chan the Mascot
23 June 2008
There is quite a long and complicated cyberpunkish background behind Anomi's character. The character was evolving with the imageboard itself, so initial legend is now lost in the depth of ages. I mean, I don't really remember it, but it should be still carefully stored at the Anoma.ch datateque.
